Location: TRC "Jezero-Hercegovac-Ružica grad", Duzluk, Orahovica Nature Park PAPUK (in the surroundings of the "Jezero" bathing area / lake shore)
EDUCATIONAL CENTER ORAHOVICA - School in nature (abbreviated EDC), is the common denominator for the tourist infrastructure built through the project within 4 projects whose origin is the famous Orahovac Swimming Pool "Jezero", and consists of accommodation facilities with accompanying services and services such as Children's Resort and the type Studio-apartment (Bungalows) with accompanying sports and recreational infrastructure and auxiliary facilities such as toilets on the beach.
Together with the water surface of Jezera and other attractions on the beach of the beach and in the narrower location of the Nature Park "PAPUK" as a picnic area, EDC is primarily intended for teaching the School in nature, but is open and accessible to visitors, excursionists and athletes of all profiles throughout the year. , either for one-day excursions or planning multi-day arrangements.
EDC includes the following facilities and facilities:
- Children's resort which is the central building of EDC
- 14 Bungalows - studio apartments in the recreational forest along Jezerska cesta
- 3 groups of public toilets on the beach Swimming pools and sports and children's playgrounds north of the water surface.
The resort is spread over 4 floors, two of which are intended for public spaces:
- restaurant with kitchen, multipurpose / conference hall with a capacity of 140 seats
- several smaller workshops
- entrance area with reception and info desk
- EDC administration space
Two floors, 1st and 2nd floor are exclusively accommodation in double rooms and apartments capacity:
- 22 accommodation units consisting of 18 double rooms, 2 of which are adapted, and
- 4 apartments APP2.
The Resort has a total of 52 beds. All public and service facilities, horizontal and vertical communications and two accommodation units, as well as all communications and public infrastructure of the outdoor areas of the Resort accessible to visitors, are adapted for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
The bungalows are ground floor detached prefabricated wooden houses in two types and form accommodation facilities in the function of EDC. There are 14 of them in total, and their guests can use all the services from the Central Building and the entire EDC system. The bungalows are not adapted for people with disabilities and reduced mobility due to the configuration of the terrain of the protected area where the access to the paths and stairs is in the terrain. The total capacity of the bungalow is 28 beds.
Sanitary facilities are the accompanying infrastructure of outdoor facilities: at 3 beach locations, there are public toilets (men's, women's and disabled toilets) with entrance from a shared covered porch with wardrobes.
